We’re constantly innundated with opinions through news articles, television, radio and the internet regarding the war, upcoming elections, one political party blasting another for their performance, or lack thereof, etc. Some of these complain, some sarcastically propose solutions, and then there are others that seem sincere in proposing a resolution. When I read or hear these, I have to wonder what that person has actually done to fix the problems. It’s easy to write a piece, or deliver a verbal opinion, but how about implementation of those thoughts. I have yet to see an plan for that, and most importantly I wonder if any of these authors and commentators have actually tried running for a political office. I can’t imagine that running a country, a state, or even a city would be easy, but I would think that to be more rewarding than sitting on the sidelines spewing out opinions that are here today, but gone tomorrow. Just some food for thought.
