The news this morning featured foods available on the midway at the State Fairs, and my stomach turned as these greasy, fat laden items were reviewed one by one. I’ve had my share of cotton candy and funnel cakes, and I’ve even tried a fried snickers. Now, this year, chocolate covered bacon is the rage. I just don’t see it. Blech! Bacon is greasy enough, then to dump fat laden chocolate all over it is a heart attack on a stick.
