America needs to snap out of its Obama-induced trance. We are being blindly led to the slaughter and the liberal media is playing the violen for us.
Today’s little tidbit comes not from the liberal media. We tried searching for additional information on their sites but met with no avail. Perhaps we should have prepended the search on the MSNBC site with “oh G_d.”
Joseph Abrams over at FOX news reports that California Senator Barbara Boxer (D) is urging the U.S. to ratify a United Nations measure meant to expand the rights of children. On the surface is sounds like a good idea, but in essence its yet another attempt to rob the US of its sovereignty and give control to the United Nations.
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
The preamble to our Constitution starts with “we the people.” That means everyone – including children. We do not need a pseudo country like the united nations imposing its will on us.
Children need to be protected and loved by a family. Parents need to be given rights to raise their children without the interference of big government. If the traditional family unit erodes, then troubles begin. We believe we’re seeing that in our generation.
If a child is in danger, every adult has a duty to act to protect that child. Those that fail to act, should be dealt with in accordance with United States law.
Wake up America. Call your Senator and urge them not to destroy US sovereignty.
