Yes, change is coming. The crowds cheered as Barrack Obama claimed victory, not only as the new president of the United States, but also the first African American president. Sadly, Obama used the color of his skin to elicit votes from those who have never cared to vote before, with his campaign personally seeing to it that these individuals were registered to vote. What he failed to do was educate them, as proven by the Howard Stern sound byte where these individuals were interviewed on their agreement with Obama’s policies. They were actually presented with McCain policies, to which they responded in agreement with those, yet stated they would be voting for Obama. When asked if they would be okay with Sarah Palin as Obama’s vice president, they responded with absolute certainty that they had no problem with her being his VP. So, why is it they would choose Obama, when they clearly agreed with and supported McCain’s policies? Because Obama failed to educate them. Before he even became president, he failed his people. He insulted their intelligence by playing the race card, rather than ensuring they understood what he stands for.
It will be an interesting 4 years, and we at Sensible Life encourage you to pray constantly for our leaders and our nation. While we need to respect our leaders, understand that it doesn’t mean turning a blind eye to them and their deeds. Barrack Obama’s plans have been proven to be socialistic, and it brings to mind a time about 20 years ago when someone commented that we never have to worry about a war for communistic control of the U.S., when it’s already sneaking in our back door and infiltrating by record numbers in the minds of the unsuspecting American people. It feels like that is becoming a reality.
Change? You betcha -but change for the better? Only if freedom doesn’t matter to you. But, for those who do care, here’s an important element for your survival toolkit: http://www.crosswalk.com/blogs/dburchett/11594545/

As voters head to the poles today, I encourage you to keep in mind what you really feel is best for our country, and not what the liberal media and the “we need change” mantra is telling you to do. Don’t succumb to the bandwagon effect. The media is spinning this as Barrack Obama winning by a landslide. Anyone out there who really knows how the polling works should possess the intelligence to realize it’s media spin again. If they can show Obama as a winner, then they play on those who will feel better about themselves if they vote for a winner. The bandwagon effect can be very dangerous, but in a society where we’re always being told how we should act, how we should feel, and what needs to be done to be on a winning team, it’s a common experience.
I’m hearing from many voters that we need change. As we posted before, Obama has never stated what he means by “change”. There’s no substance behind that, unless…well…maybe he’s talking about loose change in our pockets, which is about all we’ll have if he gets into office and imposes the taxes in his plan. I remember the last time voters were saying, “we need change, we need change”. That meaningless mantra is what put Bill Clinton in office. Then the economy boomed, so even more people thought he was just a fabulous president. It wasn’t that Clinton was a financial genius, or a great leader. Quite the opposite. He called upon lenders to loan to anyone and everyone -(paraphrasing) “everyone in America should be able to buy a home and live the American dream.” Sure, that works. It makes for a good smoke screen so it looks like the economy is booming. During those years, many people did buy, or build homes, but Clinton didn’t have the forethought to control how loans were being made, nor did he have the forethought to realize once the home was purchased, it actually had to be paid for. So, you see before you the mortgage crisis we are in today. Everywhere you look, you see foreclosures. Bush had to go in and fix Clinton’s mess, and all we heard was that it wasn’t fast enough.
This is only one of many issues that came from the Clinton administration, so as you can see “change”‘ isn’t always something that is for the better. You want a change, then sure, vote Obama-Biden, and here -have some more kool-aid. You’re going to need it. But, if you want a change that will positively impact the United States and its economy, vote McCain-Palin.
