Senate Vote 289 on the Johanns Amendment number 2394 to prohibit the use of funds to fund the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and/or its subsidiaries pass with 85 YEAs, 11 NAYs, and 3 Senators not voting. Similarly, House Vote 718 On Motion to Recommit with Instructions for H R 3221 Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009 passed with 345 AYEs, 75 NOs, 2 Present, and 11 Not Voting.
Interesting to note is that every single Representative who voted NO is up for election in 2010.
